Dairy-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls (or Cookies)

Ingredients:

4 bananas, mashed
1/2 c flax meal
1/2 c coconut flour
1/4 c almond butter
2/3 c unsweetened applesauce
1 t vanilla
1/4 c cocoa powder
1/4 c coconut oil
stevia, to taste

Directions:

  1. Melt coconut oil
  2. Mix in cocoa powder and stevia
  3. Pour into square or rectangular tupperware container then place into freezer
  4. Combine bananas, flax meal, coconut flour, almond butter, applesauce, vanilla, and stevia (if desired) in food processor until mixed together
  5. Remove coconut oil chocolate from freezer and pop out of tupperware onto sheet of saran wrap or foil
  6. Wrap chocolate in saran wrap or foil then break into small pieces with fingers or crush with spoon
  7. Stir chocolate piece into cookie dough
  8. Chill dough in refrigerator for 30 minutes
  9. Spoon out scoops of 1 tablespoon dough (yields 3 dozen)
  10. Store in refrigerator or freezer (Alternatively, refrigerate 30 minutes then bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees for Dairy-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies)
