Ingredients
1 lb 90% lean ground beef
1/2 t rubbed sage
1/2 t fennel seeds
1/4 t pepper
1/4 t pink salt
1/2 t parsley flakes
1/8 t nutmeg
2 pinches cayenne pepper
2 T Simple Girl Carolina Style BBQ Sauce
1 c diced apple
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Combine spices and diced apple together in mixing bowl
- Add meat to bowl and combine with hands until well mixed
- Add BBQ sauce and continue to mix
- Form mixture into 4 equal sized patties
- Place on baking sheet
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until done in center of patty
- Remove from oven and brush tops of patties with additional BBQ sauce, if desired
